Q1. What is a tablature ?
Al. It was invented for guitar players, so that once the system is understood it's possible for someone with patience to be able to reproduce exactly the same guitar part as is played by the guitar player. For a more detailed explanation, the in tablature section there is a piece written by Roger Brown, called Leahs' Favourite. He has transcribed some of my guitar parts in two books; Blue Skies Black Heroes and Stealin' Back.
Q2. Is the video available on both formats?
A2. Yes, it's available on both PAL and NTSC.
Q3. When is Ralph touring again in the USA ?

Q6. What tunings were used in the Ferryman ?
A6. The Ferryman which appears on You Well Meaning Brought Me Here, is played in conventional tuning, what gives it the eerie Eastern sound is the insert of a F sharp chord and the first two strings are played open on the tag, which gives it the feeling of open tuning.
Q7. On which CD can I find the very first recording of Streets of London in the USA?
A7. We presume that this first appeared on the album Spiral Staircase, if it was ever released in the USA. But certainly it appeared on the American version of You Well Meaning Brought Me Here, it is not currently available on any CD format.
Q8 And on which CD can I find the version with Danny Thompson on bass, not the Rod Clement version ?
A8. It appears on the American version of You Well Meaning Brought Me Here, it has not yet found it's way on to CD. However there may be a case in the future for all the ones that got away, i.e. not complete albums but just tracks that have not yet appeared on an album. For example Song For Ireland and England etc. to appear on one CD.
Q9. The word Tendagroo - can be found on the first track of You Well Meaning Brought Me Here, what does it mean?
A9. Tendagaroo, refers to a place in what was East Africa but is now Tannania and is spelt as Tendaguru. More information can be found on the internet, it was where the biggest ever dinosaur skeleton was discovered, I think in 1912.. I got the idea for this from a picture in a children's book called The Wonder Book of How and What and if you read the verse in the Old Testament, Genesis 1:20 and look at the picture of the dinosaur, I think that the meaning to the song will become much clearer.
Q10. I have been trying to figure the intricacies of The Setting, but can 't get it right. How do you manage to run the bass line while picking the harmony?
Al0. I'm afraid that you're going to have to wait until it's published in tablature, before you can read exactly how to do it. But suffice to say, it is played in open tuning, which is from the bass up in D - A - D - F sharp - A - D and all I can say is if you listen careflully to the song and get the guitar in the right tuning the bass line and the melody may reveal themselves.
